For planning traintravel in europe you could always try http://www.bahn.de. It only supports major connections in other countrys, but will be hlepful. Connections from Rome to Naples is generally good, about 1 hour on IC trains, and you could continue south on local trains. Should be no trouble at all, italian trains are pretty reliable.
