SmileVilla Il Paradisino – a great place.

Are you planning a trip to beautiful Tuscany. Then you should read this recommendation on a place, you definitely will be thrilled.

We went – two couples – to Tuscany for a week in late May 2010. Specifically, a suburb of Florence called Sesto Fiorentino, a town of about 50,000 inhabitants – a short drive from Florence Airport.
On The United Network, Dolcevita.no  we had found a place of residence, as from a handful of people from different countries had glittering reviews. Search for Villa Il Paradisino online and you will find more detailed discussion of the place -a small farm with a very old restored buildings surrounded by a charming  garden (which also includes a swimming pool). Just outside the garden walls you will find yourself in the city, close to the city center and train station.
The place is a privately owned property with centuries-old restored brick buildings. We had a large apartment of approx. 120 sqm. on the ground floor with its own charming patio. The apartment was equipped with all facilities, but had retained its very old decor and furnishings.
We arrived late in the evening, and had therefore ordered a light meal that was served in the apartment. We were greeted with an incredible kindness as if we were old acquaintances, and a festive table, nicely decorated with flowers and candles. Not to mention the tasty homemade dishes that were served with excellent house wine.
Throughout the week we took trips (by train or bus) to various locations around the Tuscany. Florence is only approx. 10 minutes away by train and cities such as Pisa, Siena and Lucca is about 1 to 11 / 2 hour journey from Florence.
Our young hostess, Costanza, who ran the place with her parents, was very nice and friendly and knew hardly the best she could do for us. Always ready to help or advise in an excellent English. She arranged cookery courses in the main house's kitchen, giving tips on excursions and walks in the surrounding area and provided us guide Michelangelo who drove us around on a daytrip in the district of Chianti, including to an old small vineyard – Le Mass di La Mole, where we had wine tasting and a nice chat with the farmer. Farm products were also for sale. Michelangelo was a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man.
Last evening we had booked dinner with Costanza and went to dinner in the main house's dining room where we were sitting around the table together with some other guests – a nice Swedish family. It was served countless number of delicious dishes with ingredients from their own farm / garden and ditto wines. All served with the utmost concern for its guests from the host 'side.
After a week at Villa Il Paradisino and with our hostess Costanza and her family's hospitality, we had a vacation we will never forget and we really want to go back.
If you want a vacation out of the ordinary, the Villa Il Paradisino definitely is the right place. It can be warmly recommended.
